Project Module: Real-Time Energy & Emissions Monitoring

Objective/Focus: To provide facility managers with a comprehensive tool to monitor, analyze, and optimize building energy consumption, reduce carbon footprint, and achieve significant cost savings.

My Key Contributions (as Data Analyst Lead):

  • I engineered the data pipelines that ingested real-time data from electricity meters, solar panel inverters, and utility cost APIs.
  • I designed the data model to aggregate granular readings into meaningful daily, monthly, and annual views, including the logic to calculate CO₂ emissions from kWh consumption.
  • I developed the interactive “Energy Report” dashboard from the ground up, focusing on KPIs that directly translated to business value and sustainability goals.

Business Impact: My work directly enabled clients to identify energy consumption outliers and anomalies, leading to the platform’s key value proposition of saving up to 30% on electricity bills and providing auditable data for de-carbonisation goals.
